The Highlands
Located off Leonard st.
Wonderful location for all seasons! This spot can get busy during fall season, but the views colors are worth it! There's a variety of tall grass, full trees, open areas, and paved sidewalks. This location is dog-friendly.
Provin Trails
Located on 4 Mile Rd.
Wonderful for all seasons! This spot has a variety of tall trees and sand dunes. Great for sunny days when you need shade. This spot is also gorgeous after fresh snowfall. This location is dog-friendly.
Townsend Park
Located on 6 mile Rd. In Cannonsburg.
Great for summer and fall seasons! This location is very large and has open areas, colorful trees, trails, playground, picnic tables, and a river. This location is dog-friendly.
Roselle Park
Located on Grand River Dr in Ada, Michigan.
This location offers tall grass areas, trails, a river, and flowers! I would recommend coming here once the flowers bloom, summer, and early fall.
Oval Beach
Located in Saugatuck, Michigan.
This beach is a hot spot. Grassy areas and a large open beach! A short walk from your car to the beach.
Windsnest
Located in West Olive, Michigan.
This beach is my favorite! Although it can get crowded, there are grassy sand dunes, wooden stairs, and an open beach.
Grand Haven State Park
Quick drive on the highway to Grand Haven.
Tons of beach area, which allows us to stay away from the crowds. Lighthouse and pier offer another photo-op.
Riverside Park
Located on Monroe Ave near downtown Grand Rapids. From a river to ponds, to weeping willow trees, Riverside Park offers ample backdrop variety! If you want a Grand Rapids skyline photo, this is where you can get it!
Lake Harbor Park
Norton Shores, MI.
This location is less than a mile hike to the beach. I would not recommend this location if accessibility is important. This beach offers tons of grasslands, sand dunes, large beach and nature trails!
Aquinas College
Located on Fulton St.
From the gorgeous buildings to the beautiful landscapes, you can't go wrong with Aquinas college.
Amway Grand Hotel
Downtown Grand Rapids
The Amway Grand Hotel is absolutely stunning! No flash photography is allowed so anticipate a 'moodier' feel. So many great photo-op spots inside and out.
John Collins Park
Located on Lakeside Dr. in East Grand Rapids. This location can be used year round. This would not be my go-to for fall, but if the leaves have fallen, the lake makes a nice backdrop.
